The Internal Struggle
Most of the time our internal processing units are intricately bizarre. We usually think of ourselves as a rational being, able to think logically in a clear manner; but all too often without our consciousness, our judgment is clouded by emotions and past experiences. We relate to other people in a certain way, we make friends with people similar to us, and we are too comfortable within our sphere of comfort. Going beyond is a mountain to climb, a typhoon to beat, an ocean to sail.
Good for those people who were raise in a supporting family, a nurturing school, a caring teacher, and a privilege community. For they are not impaired socially and are ahead in the socioeconomic strata of influence. For people growing up in a disadvantage sector, where conflicts are the norm, hunger is common and apathy as the status quo, internal conflict is a major challenge. All too often we are self-centered lacking the ability to put ourselves on someone's shoes. In the process, we don't recognize the problems of others, inconsiderate of their needs.
In a world where Good and Evil are constantly fighting for dominance, we are left in severe confusion. The purpose of our life seem to intricate to even comprehend. We are always facing a challenge to do good or to hurt others for our best self-interest. As human's nature for greed and power consumes the soul, hatred prevails. Would we be so kind enough to share, a little of our time? A little effort towards healing the physical, mental or spiritual instability with a stranger? A little kindness as antidote to this chaotic Earth.
