Negative Emotions Pulling You Back

Your heart beats like a wild horse on a race, the spiral of negative thoughts running uncontrollably, the pressure in your chest tingling and burning in sensation. That's how you felt while in your bed, in your office, or in the train station while going to work. You recognize that it isn't heart attack or stroke to begin with; at last you become familiar with anxiety and panic attacks coming down again unexpectedly.

When the trauma of your past and guilt overthrows the positives, you become powerless, giving up all else to the dark sucker of energy and joy. That isn't a good thing but you can't do anything to even ease up somehow. You want to run, paralyzed in your comfort zone, too afraid to try out, and settle to confining yourself in a box of hopelessness, reaping away your strength and even your self-esteem. Again, this isn't a good thing. It never was, never is and never will.

You are obsessed of reaching a goal and desire in the fastest possible time. This is not going to work, for great things come thru a process. A process involving much time, effort and repetitive tasks that may bore you along the way. You can't complain because this is how life is set. You don't have the resources; you look at yourself inferior or superior relative to other personalities; you feel like the world is not giving you what is due for you; You no longer believe in something or Someone; You felt Divinity in power, resources and privileges. These and endless reasons are impertinent. Whatever your circumstance in life, happiness is internal. If in poverty and in your current situation, you are unhappy then no amount of money and wealth will ever make you happy.

Detoxifying negative thoughts and behavior requires more than medication and habit. It's a continuous lifestyle choice that you have to struggle attaining. I know how hard it is to stay in total darkness locked in a room with nowhere to go. Digging deeper towards the ground, unable to escape, hiding yourself in the corner invisible to anyone. You just have to stop doing that. It's not easy, it's not really. You can cry and share your problems, find an outlet to express your emotions, make the most out of what is given in your life.

No matter how unfair the structure and functionalities of our social world, it is irrelevant to your success and joy. Dwell on what you have and make the best out of it, what you don't possess is not a weakness but rather a challenge. With patience, smart work, effort, faith, persistence and good communication, social skills and proper disposition (attitudinal), you will succeed. Trust that the world is not going to end yet, not for as long as you have not attained self-transcendence. It takes time to travel a long distance. You may rest for a while but please do not ever quit.
