Learning from Mistakes
Mistakes are what makes you, it separates the great ones from the good. I have read somewhere that failures are actually the foundation for success. As long as we keep on learning from our previous wrong turn and exert effort to avoid them from future occurrence, we are on the right track. The truth is there are always lessons learned from history. Events in our past are helpful as a guide for reflection. It opens our eyes to the reality that life is not perfect at all. And that we are just but humans with flaws and not infallible. We have to constantly grow and learn from our life experiences. There is nothing wrong from failing in class, facing rejection in job interviews, falling due to dance practices, committing poor decisions. At some point in our life, we experience such things. By not repeating the same mistakes twice the price of failing has come into fruition.
Great men avoid complaining, whining and blaming. They rise above circumstances no matter how grim, impossible and slim their chances of success are. To them human potential is limitless, no boundaries; everything is possible and that nothing can block them from reaching their dreams. These same men are not perfect. In fact, they may even have committed thousands of mistakes more than the average individual. They tried a thousand times more, they failed but they ultimately learned and succeeded. [ Consider the life of Walt Disney, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Manny Pacquiao and many great leaders, athletes and personalities]
We may not have all the solution to every problems in the universe but we have all the time to discover what works and what doesn't. From every poor decisions we have done in the past lies a greater opportunity for learning. By changing our strategies and not repeating the same errors for the second time, we have leveled up by a notch. Continuously enhancing our skills, talents and recipe to success (all the while making mistakes), will propel us nearer to achieving our aspirations. Just act and do. Be confident to the inner voice saying, "You can do it! You may have fears but just try and try". Conquer that self-doubt and handle rejection plus failures confidently.
With continuous effort to succeed, coupled by persistence and diligence you will become GREAT, and I should be the first to Congratulate you for reaching the pinnacle of your life. Share what you have!
